Lake Mary Life Publishing produces one of Central Florida's largest magazine publications, Lake Mary Life. Over the last 15 years, the family-owned small business has introduced several other publications rich with stories, business profiles, and local information for Seminole County residents. As the associate editor of four bi-monthly lifestyle publications, I am hyper-focused on serving as a community liaison and telling compelling stories about local people and businesses in Seminole County, FL. 

 

 

Executive Assistant and Alumni Program Coordinator
Leadership Seminole, June 2018 – Present

Leadership Seminole is a nonprofit leadership organization focused on developing current and future leaders in the Seminole County region. As Executive Assistant to the organization's President, I provide executive administrative support to the Board, Council, and, committees, co-manage the Leadership Seminole Alumni Membership program and communications efforts, and assist with event planning and support.

Communications Extern
Facebook, January 2014 – June 2014

At Facebook's inaugural communications externship program, I completed a six-month paid externship to work in the company's Communications department.​ I worked 
across three teams: Internal, Platform, and Mobile.

Internal team: Compiled daily news clips blasted company-wide, produced and updated internal employee communications materials, gave media tours and vetted press inquiries.

Mobile team: Tracked competitors to the Facebook and Messenger apps, analyzed press coverage, and prepared timely coverage reports.

Platform team: Managed f8 developer conference press registration, supported developer initiatives and product launches.

Operations Assistant and Program Manager
Hattery Labs LLC, April 2013 – November 2013

Hattery is a co-working space and event facility in San Francisco. As the operations assistant and program manager, I oversaw the daily operations and communications of Hattery's membership program with the goal of reaching full tenant occupancy. I also assisted with facility management, scheduling, financials, events, projects and other administrative tasks.
